燕窝酸又称为唾液酸,是一组神经氨酸的衍生物,在生物界中是一种普遍存在的物质,广泛存在于脊椎动物、哺乳动物及多种植物组织中。
这是因为燕窝是由金丝燕筑巢所形成的,其中所含有的燕窝酸含量非常的高,远远不是一般生物能够比拟的,据研究分析显示,燕窝中的燕窝酸含量是普通物质中燕窝酸含量的五十倍。
