積雪草提取物中含有多種三萜類，其中包含α-香樹脂醇結構。主要成分為積雪草甙，羥基積雪草甙，外觀棕黃色至白色精細粉末，口感微苦。對於治療濕熱黃疸，中暑腹瀉，砂淋血淋，癰腫瘡毒，跌扑損傷都有極好的效果。
