藥理作用研究
1.促進消化功能有學者研究發現生姜作為食用香料使用時,能明顯增加唾液的分泌量,增強澱粉酶活性;生姜提取物中姜黃素能顯著提高小鼠小腸消化酶活性,尤其多糖和低聚糖的裂解酶活性具有明顯的增強作用,從而促進消化功能,另外生姜對胃黏膜的刺激和化學性損傷均有保護作用。

2.改善血液循環功能實驗研究表明,生姜乙醇提取物能顯著改善實驗家兔的血脂質量,減少動脈粥樣硬化性改變。生姜醇提取物亦能明顯抑制由二磷酸腺苷誘導的血小板聚集,延緩血液凝固。生姜提取物可以阻止脂蛋白浸入動脈壁,改善血管結構,調整膽固醇的轉化,促進高密度脂蛋白的轉運功能,促進膽囊排泄膽固醇的功能,是具有開發前景的動脈粥樣硬化的抑制劑。
3.緩解前庭刺激症狀前庭刺激能引發暈動病,表現為噁心、嘔吐,全身不適,如暈船暈車等。研究發現姜粉有很好的預防暈動病的功能,延緩胃腸道反應,改善主觀感覺;研究發現生姜與東莨菪碱具有相似的抗暈動病效果,且作用較強。另外,生姜有止嘔吐的作用,能緩解腫瘤患者化療后的嘔吐症狀,咀嚼鮮生薑片配合西藥治療嘔吐的效果很好,此法還具有緩解口乾、預防口腔潰瘍的作用,且簡單易行、安全可靠。
